Interesting study on how to know you’re in a love and how people stay faithful. This from Rutgers University study author Shana Cole, “When people encounter an enticing temptation, one way to reduce its motivational pull is to devalue the temptation. Committed individuals see other potential partners as less attractive than other people see them, especially if they see the attractive person as a threat to their relationship, and even more so if they’re happy with their partner.”
So basically if you think everyone else is ugly, you’re in love and maybe whooped. The study from Rutgers makes a good point about stopping temptation by looking at the negative of that person. Much more here.
