Rolling Stones ‘Exile’ Era Biopic Scores ‘Downton’ Director

The Rolling Stones are getting a new biopic.

The film will focus on the period surrounding the recording of the band’s iconic album Exile on Main Street.

Exile on Main Street: A Season in Hell with the Rolling Stones, is based on the biography by Robert Greenfield.

No word yet on who will be play Mick and Keith, but the project does have a director. Deadline reports that Andy Goddard who has worked extensively on Downton Abbey has been tapped to helm the project.
