Taking All Vacation Days Shows Value

By: Beau Daniels

It’s amazing how many vacation days we don’t take as the American work force. PRNewswire reports the we waste 658 million vacation days. Here’s the catch, it is suggested that workers are more likely to get a raise because when on vacation work is piled up and a persons value is noticed. Because of the workloads vacationing employees hate returning to a mountain of left over work.

Right now American workers take a rounded average of 16 vacation days a week, compared to 22 in 2014. That contributes to the 658 million wasted. Keep in mind there is value in showing that no one else can do your job. More evaluations here.
