Kim Kardashian Addresses Rumors Her Father Helped Hide OJ Simpson Murder Weapon

Since The People vs. OJ Simpson aired on FX, the Kardashian/Jenner family, who was heavily featured in the show, has been speaking more openly about their ties to the O.J. Simpson case.

The late Robert Kardashian Sr., who was close friends with Simpson and served on his defense team, has long been the subject of conspiracy theories about the covering up of the murders of Nicole Simpson Brown and Ron Goldman.

One particular theory revolved around a highly-discussed Louis Vuitton bag that Kardashian was seen holding while leaving Simpson’s home the day after the murders.

And while many suggested that Kardashian was helping to get rid of the murder weapon and Simpson’s bloody clothes, his daughter Kim Kardashian says those rumors are entirely untrue.

During her recent interview with GQthe 35-year-old reality star admitted that she knew exactly what was in the bag…because she went through it!

“I know people said at the time that he [joined Simpson’s defense team] so he couldn’t be called as a witness, because he had that Louis Vuitton bag that supposedly had the [murder] weapon and stuff like that … But that bag was sitting at my dad’s house,” she explained.  “I remember I went through it. The news was like, ‘Where is this Louis Vuitton bag?’ And I’m like, ‘Oh, it’s upstairs.'”

So what was in the bag?

“Just toiletries and clothes and golf clothes,” she said. “Just random stuff. I’m pretty sure it’s, like, still in — probably in my dad’s storage.”

As far as the mini-series itself, Kim didn’t seem to agree with the portrayal of the Kardashian kids (“I think our ages were off and our looks were off”), but she had nothing but praise for David Schwimmer’s portrayal of her father.

“There were times I was watching it and I was like, ‘Oh s***, this is dead-on,'” she said. “Like, ‘That looks like my dad. It feels like my dad.’ It was eerie to watch sometimes.”
