Steven Tyler Confirms Aerosmith Farewell Tour in 2017

Steven Tyler said in an interview that Aerosmith will embark on their farewell tour next year.

Though the band hasn’t made an official announcement, Joe Perry told Rolling Stone in April that a farewell tour is “something we’ve talked about doing for years, let’s say roughly in the last five years. It’s just something the band’s talked about at various times.”

Tyler will release his first solo album next month, We’re All Somebody From Somewhere, and back it with a tour. Perry is on the road with The Hollywood Vampires, guitarist Brad Whitford is out with Derek St. Holmes, bassist Tom Hamilton is playing scattered dates with Thin Lizzy, and drummer Joey Kramer is selling coffee as he gets set to open his first Rockin’ and Roastin’ Cafe on July 1st in North Attleboro, Massachusetts.
