These are the 20 Whitest Cities in Metro Detroit

Southeast Michigan is a very culturally diverse place to live. People from all backgrounds and walks of life can be found co-existing, especially in the Metro Detroit area.

That said, some local cities are undeniably a bit whiter than others.

RoadSnacks.com, looking at census population data and stereotypical variables like Whole Food and yoga studios per capita, determined these are the 20 whitest cities in Metro Detroit.

1. Brighton – 97.7% white
2. St. Clair – 96.1% white
3. Milford – 95.5% white
4. Huntington Woods – 93.9% white
5. Grosse Pointe Farms – 93.5% white
6. Saline – 92.3% white
7. Wyandotte – 92.2% white
8. Garden City – 92.0% white
9. South Lyon – 91.9% white
10. Berkley – 91.8% white
11. Plymouth – 90.9% white
12. Grosse Pointe Woods – 90.8% white
13. Clawson – 90.7% white
14. Trenton – 90.5% white
15. Northville – 90.3% white
16. St. Clair Shores – 90.2% white
17. Livonia – 90.0% white
18. Royal Oak – 89.8% white
