Rolling Stones: An 80th Birthday Bash For Bill Wyman

When former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman turns 80 in October, he will host an 80th Birthday Gala during BluesFest London on October 28th at the Indigo Room at the O2 arena.

He will be joined by Mark Knopfler, Bob Geldof, Imelda May and Mick Hucknall – with many more guests to be announced.

Wyman, who was born William George Perks, Junior, joined the Stones in 1962 after serving in the Royal Air Force. He retired from the band in 1993 and has since led his own group, The Rhythm Kings.
