ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons Channels His Inner CCR With A Latin Flavor

Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top has teamed with La Marisoul of the Mexican-American band La Santa Cecilia for a new version of Creedence Clearwater Revival‘s “Green River.”

Gibbons tells Billboard, “The words behind the classic song ‘Green River’ still tell the tale which stands tall and runs deep from down around San Antone up all the way to San Jose.”

The song will be part of Quiero Creedence, the Latin tribute album to CCR that will be out on July 29th.
