David Crosby: First Of Two Albums Done! First Listen Here

David Crosby has finished one of the two albums he’s been working on and will release it on October 21st.

Lighthouse is his fifth studio album, and it contains nine songs. Crosby says, “To create brand-new music that I’m excited about is a pearl beyond price.”

He has provided a preview by streaming on his website the first single and the first song on the album, “Things We Do for Love,” which he wrote for his wife of nearly 40 years, Jan. And he co-wrote one of the other songs, “Paint You a Picture,” with Marc Cohn. Crosby recorded the album in 12 days at Jackson Browne‘s Groove Masters studio in Santa Monica, California.

Crosby will hit the road for 17 dates starting on August 18th in South Orange, New Jersey, with a fall tour to follow.
