Some GM Owners are Getting Significant Mileage Refunds

By: Jon Corrigan

As part of a multi-million dollar class action settlement, owners of popular GM SUV’s are starting to receive money in the mail – in some case over $1,000.

WXYZ.com reports since GM overstated gas mileage by one mile per gallon on 2016 Chevy Traverse, 2016 GMC Acadia and 2016 Buick Enclave, owners of those vehicles are receiving compensation.

Rebates ranging from $300 to more than $1,000 may seem like a lot for something so minor, but Chevrolet says the difference costs drivers up to $800 more in gasoline per year.
