Ted Nugent Picks Donald Trump’s Next Theme Song

Popular music and political campaigns don’t always mix.

Last week artists including Queen, The Rolling Stones and George Harrison (via his estate) expressed dismay and anger at their music being used as part of the Republican National Convention without their permission.

Donald Trump has had multiple musicians request that he stop using their music in his campaign, but Ted Nugent has a solution.

In a new interview with Ultimate Classic Rock, Nugent was asked to suggest a track from his catalog that would work for Trump. “Stranglehold” would “clinch the presidency,”  says to the Detroit rocker.

How would Nugent feel if Hillary Clinton were to use one of his songs in her campaign? “We would know the end is near,” he said.
