Piranha’s In The Great Lakes?

No, but Piranha like fish were found in Lake St. Clair as reported by MLive. Three Pacu fish normally in the Amazon River were caught the last 3 weeks. They have teeth like humans and Piranha’s.

Mike Thomas from the DNR is not surprised, “People keep Pacu as pets. They’re a very popular fish in the aquarium trade. When they get too big (for their aquarium), they start eating other fish and they set them free. We’ve never seen any small fish, so there is no sign of any reproduction, and those that show up are always caught in the middle of the summer.” So hopefully they don’t adapt and survive Michigan Winters.
