Ranking Of States With The Worst Drivers

By: Beau Daniels

Here’s a look at a list of The States With The Worst Drivers provided by Smart Asset. Keep in mind that close to 43,000 people lost their lives to traffic accidents according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Florida tops the list and also is second for uninsured drivers. The sunshine state is the biggest retirement state, so I assume many elderly are involved with accidents there. Tennessee is in the top ten. I can remember Nashville at one time having the most accidents per capita, and from my own experience, driving on I-64 and I-24 is always an adventure there.

Michigan is ranked high, see where here.
