By: Jon Corrigan

A 42-year-old U.S. skydiver with more than 18,000 jumps made history on Saturday when he became the first person to jump from an airplane without a parachute.

After a two-minute free fall from 25,000 feet, Luke Aikins landed squarely in a 100 ft x 100 ft, two-tiered net.

Aikins walked away from the stunt unharmed.
