How Lighting Can Effect You At Work

Which light therapy is productive in the work place? That question is being researched. Many believe light therapy can even help people recover from cancer. In the work place it’s all about balancing the hormones serotonin, and cortisol.

QZ.com reports Mark Rea, director of research as saying, “The better the lighting, the more information I can gather—whether I’m reading a paper or I’m enjoying a painting in a museum, or watching my kids play in the backyard. If the lighting compromises our ability to acquire information, we’re probably going to be in a bad mood.” So lighting can effect your mood and productivity at work, but having personal control over it is important, see more here.
