Rick Astley Now Rocking AC/DC’s “Highway To Hell” [VIDEO]

By: Beau Daniels

Rick Astley in my mind is associated with disco or least electronic generated music with the song “Never Gonna Give You Up.” So the UCR story of him performing AC/DC’s “Highway To Hell,” made me think it was one of the times when an artist should have never crossed over and touched an iconic rock branded classic.

But the story goes on to reveal he was a drummer with rock roots before ever standing solo behind a mic with neon flash. You could call it a temporary sell-out, but think about all the artist’s in the last 5 years that wavered to the infusion of some EDM injected thru their different original sound, including some extreme hip-hop artist’s.

OK, I can’t talk myself into digging this but it is an interesting video.
