In the afterglow of the big games, Women’s Health has posted the diet’s of several athletes and they are interesting. Let’s start with Ryan Lochte since he is in the news. His Friday routine includes chicken wings, pizza, and downs Mountain Dew. Lochte crams over 7000 calories a day.
Switching to the healthy diets, marathon runner Shalane Flanagan is into ginger and beet juice as part of a smoothie and after a run drinks coconut water. Oatmeal, chicken and quinoa also find a place in her routine. Abby Johnston is known for eating zucchini boats, and although she drinks 56 ounces of water everyday, she ends the day with a margarita.
