Old People Are Happier Than Those Who Are Young

Did you ever think that old people are happier than those who are young in their 20’s? Time has reported on research conducted by Dr. Dilip Jeste,, from the Center on Healthy Aging at the University of California, “There’s this idea that old age is bad, it’s all gloom and doom and older people are usually depressed, grumpy and unhappy. Happiness and wellbeing are thought to take a U-shaped curve throughout life, dipping down in middle age before inching up again later in old age.”

Over 1500 where researched with the conclusion Seniors are enjoying life more than the young even though they have more challenges physically and mentally. To use a young persons term, old people are better at dusting “dirt off the shoulder.” Details here.
