Men Are Much More Likely To Forgive Than Women

Men have less of a chance than women to survive cheating in a relationship. Close to 70 percent of men will give a woman a second chance, and 82 percent if she confesses before being caught. But only 48 percent of women give men a second chance. Christian Grant speaks in the Elite Daily story, “This new IllicitEncounters research shows that women really do react much worse to cheating than men, and that a husband’s adultery is more likely to end in divorce than a wife’s.”

The study learned that men feel their neglect might have caused some of their partners cheating, so that’s why they are more open to second chances. Women think men are much more likely to repeat as cheaters. More
