Library Repels Teenagers With Sonic Device Used For Mosquitoes

By: Beau Daniels

A library that has been concerned about loitering teenagers that have been causing fight started using a dice to repel them. That device is a sonic mosquito replant. Head of the library explains in the UPI story, “The mosquito device emits a noise that is undetectable by adults and proves uncomfortable to youth if they spend any length of time in close proximity. The alarm is on all the time.”

There are some civil liberty rights evolved with trying to detour teenagers, not all cause problems. But have you ever noticed no kids around your sonic device? UPI reports the library’s unit cost over $900, here’s one for $25.
