Laurie Hernandez’s First Pitch at Mets Game was ‘Flipping’ Awesome

By: Jon Corrigan

U.S. Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez was invited to Citi Field to throw out the first pitch for the New York Mets on Friday, and it was awesome

After handing her gold medal to her sister, the 16-year-old proceeded to flip from the mound and throw the ball to home plate.

We give the throw a 2 out of 10, but the flip was flawless.

Grateful I got to throw the first pitch at the NY Mets game today! (I'll just stay with gymnastics omg😂⚾️)
