Olympic Medalist Allison Schmitt LIVE in WOMC Studio

Allison Schmitt brought her Gold and Silver Olympic medals (safely wrapped inside Adidas socks) into the WOMC studio and graciously let Bobby and Stacey try them on. They are HEAVY!

Allison, who graduated from Canton High School in 2008, started swimming at the age of nine, and says she wasn’t very good but hung in there and finally started getting competitive when she was 16. “I roomed with the girls in the fast lane at an away meet and I thought ‘I want to be in their lane.'”

Not only did she get in the fast lane, she surpassed the fast girls and went on to compete at Olympics in Beijing, London, and Rio.
