A new study from Zippia.com has revealed the 100 highest paying jobs in Metro Detroit.

Using data directly from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, examining all 514 job classifications in the Motor City, the career website discovered psychiatrists, chief executives and surgeons are among the highest paid Detroiters.

1. Psychiatrists
• Average salary: $224,800
• Entry level salary: $160,820
• # of people: 120

2. Chief Executives
• Average salary: $203,090
• Entry level salary: $92,330
• # of people: 1,330

3. Surgeons
• Average salary: $191,360
• Entry level salary: $44,560
• # of people: 230

4. Pediatricians (general)
• Average salary: $190,190
• Entry level salary: $49,620
• # of people: 320

5. Nurse Anesthetists 
• Average salary: $181,820
• Entry level salary:$166,390
• # of people: 650

6. Family and General Practitioners 
• Average salary: $164,890
• Entry level salary:$46,290
• # of people: 830

7. Obstetricians and Gynecologists
• Average salary: $158,940
• Entry level salary: $45,020
• # of people: 210

8. Physicians and Surgeons (all other)
• Average salary: $158,690
