Truck Robbed of iPhones Turned Out To Be 5’s Not 7’s

By: Beau Daniels

With the release and popularity of the iPhone 7 it’s kinda funny that a couple of robbers looking to cash in on the latest model, allegedly robbed a truck of 900 phones that were the old iPhone 5’s.

Mashable reported the robbers had thrown chili powder in the face of the driver to take over the truck. After driving to a remote location they discovered that the phones were 5’s. The truck of older models are still worth $375,000. The iPhone 7’s became available to Verizon customers today and if you were lucky to get yours, congratulations, and be cautious of their value.
