Michigan Firefighters Making National News With Their Kitten Rescue

By: Beau Daniels

Props to the Firefighters from Farmington Hills who are making national news by showing their soft side and rescuing a black cat. It actually was a black kitten caught 10 feet inside a concrete culvert.

Fire Chief Jon Unruh, had this to say in the UPI report, “While our focus is obviously providing the best possible fire protection and emergency medical services to the citizens in our community, our firefighters have also rescued countless animals over the years. Many of us are animal lovers and situations like this definitely make everyone involved feel good.”
