The Viral ‘Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen’ Song Will Instantly Get Stuck in Your Head

By: Jon Corrigan

An infectiously-catchy song, “PPAP” (Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen), has strangely taken the internet by storm.

Performed by DJ Piko-Taro, a fictional character played by Japanese entertainer Kazuhiko Kosaka, the video has amassed well-over 50 million views across multiple websites.

It’s gotten so popular, even Netflix produced a spoof video.

Sorry for ruining your day!
