Oct. 8, 2016 was the “proudest day” of Seth Schneider’s life.

Why? He successfully snapped a photo of him high-fiving himself, and became an internet sensation.

Schneider’s tweet has been retweeted over 165,000 times, with 420,000+ likes.

People from all reaches of the globe are now throwing their phones into the air in an attempt to replicate the high-five selfie.
