Scientists Claim This Video Will Make People Hallucinate

Researchers from the University of New South Wales in Australia claim the video above can induce visual hallucinations without the use of drugs.

Lead researcher Joel Pearson explains:

We have known for more than 100 years that flickering light can cause almost anyone to experience a hallucination.

However, the unpredictability, complexity and personal nature of these hallucinations make them difficult to measure scientifically.

The video apparently triggered nearly 100 healthy students to see non-existent pale grey blobs.
