A ‘Wedding Crashers’ Sequel is Coming, Says Isla Fisher

By: Jon Corrigan

Good news for people still quoting Wedding Crashers in 2016. According to Isla Fisher, a sequel to the 2005 comedy is in the works.

“I bumped into Vince Vaughn at a party and he said that apparently we’re going to be making a sequel,” Fisher said Thursday on Today. “So I’m really excited to see what happened to Gloria.”

When asked if it was a “done deal,” Fisher seemed to realize the potential gravity of her statement and slightly backtracked.

“Well, I don’t know about that. I shouldn’t really announce it on morning television. But apparently there’s some talk of it, which is fun.”

Until further notice, let’s just operate under the hopeful assumption a sequel is on the way.
