On “Iron Man,” Ozzy Osbourne sings different words than those on the original album Paranoid, which was released in January 1971 . “Now he’s standing there / Iron Man don’t you dare / For he wants you, too / Iron Man, I love you,” he sings.

The new compilation also includes extensive liner notes, in which band members discuss some of the tracks on the release. In the notes, drummer Bill Ward shares how he looks at the lyrics before coming up with his percussion parts.

“I thought the lyrics to ‘Iron Man’ were really sad,” Ward says. “I asked Geezer what it was he wrote and I didn’t really understand it. So I listened to it again over and over. I’m what people call an ‘orchestrational’ drummer, so I play to what the lyric is saying. I tried to make it sound sad.”
