Neil Diamond Announces 50th Anniversary Tour, Includes Show at The Palace

Music legend Neil Diamond will celebrate his 50th anniversary as a performer with a world tour that launches April 7 in Fresno, California. So far, he has announced North American dates which run through August 12 in Los Angeles and he will reveal European dates soon.

Diamond is scheduled to make stops in major cities, including New York City, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Dallas, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver.

The singer will perform at The Palace of Auburn Hills on Friday, June 2.  Presale tickets for this show go on sale Thursday, Dec. 8 at 10 a.m., use the password TURNTABLE. Tickets officially go on sale Friday, Dec. 9 at 10 a.m.

Over a half-century, Diamond has sold over 125 million albums worldwide and has charted 37 Top 40 singles and 16 Top 10 albums both in the U.S. and abroad. A Grammy Award-winning artist, Diamond is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Songwriters Hall of Fame and a recipient of the Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award. He has also won a Golden Globe Award and 2009’s NARAS’ MusiCares Person of the Year award. In 2011, Diamond received the Kennedy Center Honor for his lifetime of contributions to American culture.
