High School Basketball Game Features Three Buzzer-Beaters in 4.5 Seconds

By: Jon Corrigan

The final seconds of a Nebraska high school basketball game last Friday provided not one, not two, but three buzzer-beaters worthy of ESPN’s SportCenter top-10 plays of the night.

Within the span of 4.5 seconds, the Waverly-Blair game featured two half-court shots (both waved off due to a foul and a timeout) and a buzzer-beating three-pointer to give Waverly a 53-50 win.
