Robin Thicke Leads Celebrity Tributes to Alan Thicke

Thicke's son called him "the greatest man I ever met."

The sudden death of TV icon Alan Thicke has touched every area of the entertainment industry. The late star has earned tributes from Millennials who grew up watching him on Growing Pains, actors who filmed movies and TV shows with him and recording artists who respected his music. Thicke’s son Robin Thicke told the L.A. Times that his dad was “the greatest man I ever met” and “always a gentleman.”

“The good thing was that he was beloved and he had closure,” said Robin. “I saw him a few days ago and told him how much I loved and respected him.”
